In the last week, it won't crash when I only use one 8g memory, 8g+8g would crash. I have tried all the ways you listed above, even including reinstall my windows system, reset my bios settings. Hello guys, I ve got the same issue while playing GTA online. If we are truly in the brightest timeline, then someone out there knows how to fix this.
Making sure the router has relevant ports open. Making sure GTA has access through Windows firewall. Clean install of GTA with Steam start with admin privileges. Setting GTA to launch with admin privileges in compatibility mode Windows 7. Making a second windows user profile with admin permissions. Checking and fixing all Windows system files. Starting GTA in safe mode on lowest possible graphics. Deleting settings files and having the game recreate them. Clean install of GTA on different hardrives. Turning off all start up services in task manager. Stopping everything in ms-config apart from Windows services. Unplugging all USB ports except from a plain mouse and keyboard. Although they were friendly and useful, they have exhausted all possible fixes of which none have worked.
I have contacted Rockstar support a total of 5 times.
